NAAC Peer Team Visit Cycle 3:

• Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Leena Raje, the IQAC facilitated the process of third cycle of accreditation under the Revised Assessment Framework. The entire process was done stepwise according to the guidelines provided by NAAC.

Step1: Registration of the college on the NAAC portal and acceptance of the college registration according to eligibility criteria of NAAC called the Institute Information for Quality Assessment (IIQA) on 14-2-2019

Step2: After acceptance of IIQA and within 45 days uploading the Self-Study Report (SSR) in April 2019. Committees comprising of teaching faculty members, non-teaching members as well as student volunteers diligently collected data which was compiled and structured as per the templates provided by the NAAC. Documents were collected, scanned, categorised according the seven criteria and the templates, saved into correct folders to be uploaded on the portal. Immediately after uploading of SSR, the Students Satisfaction Survey was undertaken by NAAC.

Step3: Under the RAF, 70% of the data were to be checked using third party assessment. The Data Validation and Verification (DVV)process began immediately. The DVV clarifications were sent to NAAC on April 27, 2019 and the College cleared the pre-qualifier for NAAC assessment on May 15, 2019 as per notification from NAAC office.

Step4: The college received dates of the Peer Team Visits and now further committees were planned to prepare for the NAAC Peer Team Visit on 23, 24-7-2019.

Step5: Mock NAAC visit was arranged on 13-7-2019. Members of the CEDA group comprising of Dr. Gosavi, Dr. Beena Inamdar and Dr. Deshpande conducted the Mock NAAC

Step6: The NAAC Peer Team headed by Dr. Ajaya kumar P. P. Hon. Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Kerala, Dr. HK Laldinpuii Fente Professor, Mizoram University and Dr. Rahman Sherif Aktharbegum, Principal, Islamia Women’s Arts and Science College, Vaniyambadi Vellore, visited the college on 23, 24 -7-2019. The team interacted with all stakeholders, checked the infrastructure and closely scrutinised all documentation. The Chairman Hon. Pro-VC Dr. Ajaya Kumar submitted the Peer Team Report during the Exit Meeting.

Step7: The College received B++ with a CGPA of 2.88/4 in the 3rd cycle of accreditation under the Revised Accreditation Framework (RAF). The college received the NAAC Cycle 3 certificates from NAAC on 18-2-2020.
