Functions of the IQAC (as given by NAAC)
  • Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution
  • Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education
  • Organization of workshops and seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
  • Documentation of various programmes / activities leading to quality improvement
  • Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality-related activities
  • Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on the quality parameters.
Significant Contribution
  • Preparing for NAAC Accreditation, 2nd Cycle and achieving ‘A’ grade with CGPA of 3.61/4
  • Preparing proposal for College with Potential for Excellence. UGC honour received in April 2015
  • Preparing proposal for infrastructure development under RUSA
  • Collaborating with SAS, a multinational company under their CSR to create 3 Advanced and 3 Basic Smart Classrooms for training students in employability skills.
  • Collaborating with Vivekanand Kendra and Divine Living for arranging workshops for Faculty, non-teaching staff and students
  • Using the Key Result Area as a methodology to achieve targets set up by the NAAC Peer Team
  • Releasing the IQAC newsletter and as an e-edition Weblink for AQAR reports
