HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MASTER'S PROGRAM
The Master's program is divided into four semesters with Core papers covered in the first two semesters, and the latter two dealing with electives and research, wherein the student submits a dissertation. A USP of this Department is that students are informed at the outset of the program, ie at the time of admission, about the specialization they would get, based on merit, thereby allowing them to chart out a clear career path for themselves.

One of the most attractive aspects of the Psychology Masters offered here is the emphasis on field based practicum and hands on training. Students are placed in multiple field sites where they are exposed to the real world of work of professional psychologists and receive training in handling cases in the field of psychology, within their chosen domain.
